Hi, I’m Pauline.
After more than 10 years working in business, sourcing, and cross-border operations, I reached a point where I started asking myself a different question:
What if a career didn’t have to depend on one job, one company, or one place?
For years, I thought career growth meant following a familiar path — gaining experience, becoming better at what I did, and moving toward the next role.
But the world of work is changing.
AI is reshaping how we work. Remote work is changing where we work. And the internet is creating new ways to turn our knowledge, experience, and ideas into something of our own.
That made me realize something important:
Starting again doesn’t mean starting from zero.
The skills, judgment, relationships, and experience we’ve built over the years are still valuable. The question is how we can combine them with new tools and new ways of working to create more possibilities for what comes next.
That’s why I created Pauline’s World.
This is where I document my own journey of career reinvention — learning how to combine experience with AI, writing, digital skills, and independent work.
